Ghana Gold Board CEO Honored as Best Public Company CEO at 2025 RTP Awards

The CEO of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, Esq. has been recognized as the Best Public Company CEO for 2025 at the recently held 15th Radio and TV Personality Awards (RTP Awards).

The award was presented under a newly introduced category aimed at honoring the top 10 CEOs in Ghana for their outstanding leadership and contributions to their respective sectors.

Other notable awardees included the CEOs of Tema Oil Refinery, State Insurance Corporation, and the Tourism Authority, among others, highlighting exceptional leadership across both public and private sectors in Ghana.

Representing GoldBod at the ceremony, Media Relations Officer Prince Kwame Minkah received the award on behalf of the CEO.

He was presented with a beautiful plaque and a citation, recognizing the CEO’s visionary leadership and the Board’s impact on the gold sector and national economy.

The award comes in the wake of GoldBod’s landmark achievements, including strengthening Ghana’s gold trading sector, boosting foreign exchange earnings, and advancing local gold refining and value addition initiatives.

GoldBod continues to play a pivotal role in transforming Ghana’s gold industry, positioning the country as a leader in both regulation and sustainable growth within the sector.
