GoldBod Jewellery redefines elegance with latest collections
Simplicity, sophistication, and elegance define GoldBod Jewellery, a subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), as it continues to create stunning new designs that push the boundaries of creativity and beauty for customers.
These new collections of locally crafted pieces offer customers the opportunity to elevate their everyday elegance with responsibly sourced Ghanaian gold.
GoldBod Jewellery believes that its authentic tradition and flawless craftsmanship, expressed through pure gold, create timeless pieces designed to leave a lasting impression for every occasion.
Across its nationwide showrooms are elegant gold chokers, necklaces, earrings, matching bangles, and beautifully crafted rings designed for self-expression, celebrating milestones, showcasing achievements, honouring love, and connecting customers to Ghana’s rich history and artistic heritage.
As a subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board, GoldBod Jewellery has emerged as a key driver in redefining value addition within Ghana’s gold industry.
The company has announced the restructuring and rebranding of its fully owned Ghanaian jewellery manufacturing company, which was incorporated in 2016.
The initiative is aimed at providing customers with authentic, exquisite, locally crafted jewellery and ornaments while encouraging greater patronage of Made-in-Ghana jewellery products.
The rebranding and value addition strategy has received recognition from individuals and stakeholders within Ghana’s extractive industry.
The subsidiary has already taken a significant step toward positioning Ghana as a global jewellery hub with the launch of its new e-commerce platform, jewellery.goldbod.gov.gh.
Addressing the media and partners during the launch, Managing Director of GoldBod Jewellery, Getrude Emefa Donkor, Esq., said the initiative marks the beginning of a new era in Ghana’s gold value addition agenda, ending the longstanding practice of exporting raw gold while importing high-value jewellery products.
“Today, we break that cycle. Today, we are changing that story forever,” she declared.
She explained that the rebranding is part of efforts to strengthen Ghana’s local jewellery industry by increasing domestic production of high-quality jewellery and reducing dependence on imported products.
According to Ms. Donkor, the retooling and rebranding programme is a strategic move to showcase Ghana’s rich gold heritage, promote local craftsmanship, and create more opportunities within the domestic jewellery sector.
She noted that the initiative will provide customers with unique Made-in-Ghana jewellery pieces while supporting local businesses, artisans, and the wider economy.
